Amsterdam

We only stayed one day in Amsterdam, so we did not see nearly as much as we would have liked. We had to keep the kids away from the red light district, but a town built upon water surround by canals is really cool. And of course, you have to make note of the windmills -- an iconic part of of their country.

We were able to see the city at night by boat. This is where we boarded.

Along the way, we saw water-front condos and shops. It would be really cool to live on the water!

We snaked along the canals. It is interesting that people don't have shutters or curtains in their water-front condos -- you can see straight into their bedrooms!
